We chose this campground because of listed Wi-Fi availability. As is so often the case it was not working. Otherwise this is a decent campground with large open spaces. Sites are big enough with enough space between. Nearby airport gets quiet early enough in the evening. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were glad this campground remained open in late October as we headed south out of Canada. Sites are grassy and got really muddy in the rain, but the 30-amp utility worked fine (50 amp costs extra to unlock), and we were able to get Dish satellite from the open site that we selected away from the trees. The wifi did not work at all, even next to the office. The property is pleasant enough, with a big grassy field that they have a music festival on during Labor Day, a pond, and lots of trees. It’s close to the airport so when the wind is blowing in a certain direction the airport noise got fairly loud. It’s also convenient to Bangor attractions and shopping. Best of all they accepted our Passport America for two nights, which brought the cost way down. Several old rigs scattered around diminished the atmosphere, but not badly. I would definitely stay here again at the Passport America rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground is somewhat old, but we were treated well each visit and the price is reasonable. Amenities were about average, the pool was clean but cool (outdoor pool) Wi-fi didn't work on our site. The kids loved the wagon ride. There is some aircraft noise as the campground is near the airport. It is convenient located for shopping in Bangor or a stopover on a trip south. We'll be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very friendly campground that has grass sites that need some leveling. They didn't offer off season rates despite the pool being closed. It is under the approach to Bangor airport but air traffic was light and didn't bother us. It is quiet, clean, easy to get to and would stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great staff. Extremely family friendly! Several planned activities for all. Nice paved roads throughout. Sites are close but not tight. Lots of room to walk, kids rode bikes, etc. Clean pool. Pets are welcome as well. Convenient to interstate, shopping entertainment. WI-FI available, but not free! Most definitely would stay again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pleasant Hill should be renamed Unpleasant Hill. We cannot comment on our stay because we were treated so rudely in the check-in office and by the owner while we were parked on the road waiting to check in. The owner was very snippy and Unpleasant and even told us that we could not turn around and ordered us to back out. Pleasant Hill is not very Pleasant. We left and went to a park down the road. We did find Paul Bunyon right down the road to be very pleasant and less expensive and we are staying there for a week. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park for a stay in the Bangor area. Can combine PPA and Escapees discounts. They don't know how to use their reservation system well or it isn't good as they are always moving people into slots then moving them again in two or three days because of units coming in. They would be better off not assigning people to specific spots until they were at the campground. Large group of people who spend the summer there. They charge extra for 50 amp and then charge extra for A/C on top of the 50 amp charge! That was why the lower rating. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A nice place to stay overnight. They were sort of disorganized though. They were putting RV's in overflow for 2 to 3 days and letting other units in on sites without reservations. It didn't make sense. They moved us off our spot to overflow and then immediately back on. That was a nuisance. We camped here in a Motorhome.
