Nice park lots of shade. Most parking sites have some slope but ours was minimal. Parking is on dirt so be prepared for mud when it rains. Staff show signs of stress (obviously a busy season) - don't for Gods sake place your car sticker on the wrong side of your windshield you will receive a real dressing down if you do. Hid'n Pines is a large complex with many tents. Twenty minute walk to beach. Best restaurant is Anjons. Not on the beach, turn right at the camp entrance and travel to route one, turn right and Anjons is a few miles on the left (opposite Scarborough Marsh. We stopped for three nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Ok so like most everyone else I tried to get in to a campground I have been to before, no such luck. So I searched around and did not do mu homework. We found OOB Campground on the net and booked it for the weekend in Mid August. I was very surprised to get a site in prime season. Everything was all set. Arrived on Friday did all my registration and as I am about to leave the office the attendant informs me that my 30' travel trailer might not fit! So we drive in and make the loop around. Lot of seasonal sites and odd glares and bad vibe from the campers we drove by. Make it to out site and just had enough room to back in to the fence to make it off the road. Stayed 2 nights total. Spent a total of 6 hours in the campgound it self sleeping and showering only. Very unfriendly to "outsiders". From the 2 or 3 people who did talk to us the pool is a free for all. No monitoring of who is using it. People from off the street park in the front and just walk right in to the pool area and free load. Another issue about this place is the street access. The drive way is located at the end of I-195 and a merging traffic from Route 1. Was very difficult to get in and out with the volume of cars and the speed that they are traveling. I would NOT stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Overall, an OK camping experience. Claim to be a "family" campground, but very unfriendly people working there. Also, very expensive as the rate applies to only two people, so all children are charged for. The pool is right next to the road and sites very close together, so there is definitely a lack of privacy. The bathrooms were very clean and always well taken care of. I have camped in another Old Orchard Beach campground, and we were not able to get a reservation, so ended up here. We will definitely try to get into the other campground next year. We don't want to go back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground located .7 of mile from Old Orchard Beach. Full hook-up sites were close but nice and w/e nicely shaded. Everyone at the campground were friendly and helpful. Had a heated pool and hot tub. Can not wait to go back We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this resort as it was C2C and close to the beach. This campsite appeared to be mostly seasonal folks, friendly and all, but the sites were very cramped and roads quite narrow. I feel I am being generous with the above rating. The drinking water was disgusting and smelled like "poo" literally. We'd booked in for 2 nights and wished we'd known the area a little better, as we would have moved on after the first night. Staff were indifferent, had no record of our reservation even though we provided the reservation number. Their clubhouse/weight room/activity area was dilapitated and unkempt. The pool area was nice. Another good thing was the trolley and closeness to excellent family restaurants. I wouldn't recommend this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This place is amazing. I am not positive on the nightly rate, but it is a tremendous resort. They have two or three pools, the views are awesome. My family had a great time in Maine at this place. They have seasonal rates! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This place was large with a lot of activities. Easy access to sights, easy to find and spacious. It was extremely buggy, even with spraying Off, using bamboo torches and the candles we were still bitten up pretty good. They have three pools, which is fine if you just want to sit in the water, they don't like the kids playing or jumping or much of anything. After my kids were spoken to by the owner about 6 times for being kids we left and went to the beach. I take my kids camping to have fun, not be a statue. We will not be returning here. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed on site 72 which had a very slow flowing stream and made for a very buggy week. The campground was very quiet and appeared to be at about 30% capacity. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground areas. We would have liked to see more planned activities for the children but that may have been due to the time of year we visited. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice an clean campground. Called ahead to get a site and was told I could not reserve by phone for only one night. Huh? Stayed two nights and looked around Old Orchard Beach. Wife got her nails done. Not much there besides an amusement park and a big pier. Since we are not interested in that sort of thing, it wasn't much to us. Campground had MANY seasonals. Their lots were very well kept so it was not unsightly. Again could not get satellite to work even though campground said I would. Easy access off I-95. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very clean campground. We camped off season so it was quiet. The pool was very clean and our son really enjoyed the hot tub. You can walk to Old Orchard Beach from the campground. There were a lot of seasonals, but they were very well kept. A good location to see the local sites. The one downfall was that you could hear the traffic from the campground. Daily newspaper was free. We would return, but probably off season. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Wild Acres in late August '07. We found the sites (premium site) to be very spacious. This park was very clean, and the staff was helpful. The pool appeared to be well maintained. The rear entrance is 2/10 mile from the beach. We walked to the beach, and found it to be a very convenient location for beach access. We did notice several different times that teenagers were driving golf carts at a high rate of speed. This was quite common. The campground store was advertised as "well stocked". We found it to be "nearly depleted". This could be due to the end of the season. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
