- Steph85 There is A DRIVE IN THEATRE WITHIN 10 MINS off of Clovis Hwy. GREAT PLACE FoR THE FAMILY. I recommend clovis highway to northside for shopping and food. There is a sonic and several gas stations within 5 min drive. The Valero off Frankford and Clovis Hwy would be my top pick for gas station convienence they litterally sell EVERYTHING YOU NEED including hott food.4 weeks ago Prairie Land RV

Nice park, no shade in our section though.
Can be crowded and noisey, but hey it's a State Park. Great walking

Tip for Other Campers:
Stay out of Jackson, some good restaurants but there's a lot of gang shootings and it's getting worse.
Stick to the lakes and surrounding towns!
