I'm heartbroken to see that the location of Holt's Shell is now a Pilot Truck Stop. We camped at Holt's Shell RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Check out Gila Bend FamCamp Campground just south on AZ 85.
When we checked in we realized that Holts Shell, including the fueling station, is closing on Monday March 16, 2020 and all the RVs must leave by this Friday, March 13. We camped at Holt's Shell RV...

Check out the Space Age Motel and Restaurant in town. Come for the vintage sci-fi decor, stay for the more than decent food at decent prices.
