Roper lake is always well maintained and clean. Recently had upgrades to restrooms and some trails. We camped at Roper Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed 3 nights in the Cottonwood Campground. The bathroom facilities and day use areas have been updated. Our site had a Ramada with picnic table and fire pit. Plenty of room and a beautiful view...

Nice walk around the lake. Facilities were good. Staff helped us add a few nights to our stay. We camped at Roper Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Sanford has most of the shopping you would need. No wifi in park. We went to the coffee shop downtown which was awesome.
