Not a whole lot of communication like I have experienced with privately owned campgrounds. This is state park. Check in was easy, go to the ranger station and viola! They sell firewood $6 a bundle....

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of trials to walk on- suggest the road to the Dam- about a 5 mile walk there and back, but worth it. The little town of Campo is intriguing- research it. Did not use the showers but were told by neighbors they were clean.
