  RoamingRays Bring a weed eater to trim some of the grass next to your site. D loop not good for large rigs. Bring plenty of groceries. Small store 35 minutes away. Taking Hwy 140, Yosemite valley floor is 2 hours away. The other Hwy into Yosemite is ~1 1/2 hours away from the park. Its 90*F in May

  RVExperience The walk to the lake is very long, and hard to walk by yourself, let alone carrying anything. If you are looking to hang out lake side, as we were, Horshoe Bend Recreation area is run by the MID as well, and you can drive right down to lake side and set up your canopy and hang out. If you have a boat, or are into Mountain biking, Barrett Cove Campground is awesome.
