Gas station and grocery store a mile away in the town of Lakehead.. Redding, a few miles south, has a great place for kids at Turtle Bay.

Tip for Other Campers:
Mt Shasta city is a great place with lots of shops and great food. About a 30 min. Drive north.
Shasta caverns are interesting and can be accessed by boat.
Lake Shasta is huge and has many wonderful things to see. Lots of wildlife.

Tip for Other Campers:
All dirt roads to the sites. Tight corners so get out of your rig and plan your parking for your site. Ours was a back in.
