Take the Million Dollar highway to Ouray- lots of great hiking options in the high country. Upper and lower Box Can falls if you want easy,Perimeter /Ice Park for more of a challenge. Durango-Silverton railway is a must do- go first class if possible. Spendy but worth it.Alamosa Parlor car on Mon/Wed or Fri. J Leigh is the best!
