Estes doesn't have a lot of options for camping. This was gravel and rocky but overall it's a good location with a great view of Long's Peak. In the summer, they have free concerts on the weekends....

Tip for Other Campers:
Everything in and around Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park is worth seeing. If you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle go drive the Old Fall River Road. It is a dirt road that goes to the Alpine Visitor Center at the highest point. Give yourself plenty of time. I think it is only about 10 miles but will take a couple of hours to get to the top....

This campground is literally a couple of miles from RMNP, making it very convenient and worthwhile.
