Tip for Other Campers:
Make yourself a favor and go to Hot tomato cafe. Its a small downtown pizzeria that is amazing! The vibe of the restaurant is super cute and costumer service was amazing! Downtown is cute!! Small but cute little shops super local.

Tip for Other Campers:
Plan ahead for dog walking and potty breaks. It was in the upper 90s and the park roads were prohibitively hot.

We drove to Colorado National Monument - were still on the Colorado Plateau which extends into Utah and where weve been traveling for weeks - so it seemed more of the same. The educational signs about the layers of rock were the best done here - with clear examples right before our eyes. The road through the NM - a terrifying one! It is paved and in good...
