  Robert the RV Warrior We visited Leadville and walked the main street area. There are several gas stations, a Safeway and Hardware store about 1 mile from the RV park, a Shopko, several pizza and burger establishments in town, nearby lakes, etc. We drove to Aspen, CO, which was a spectacular drive to and from Leadville. There are mine tours, a museum synogogue, and a train tour. The town is at 10,152 feet. I would stay again.

  threehendersons Short hike at Twin Lakes to Interlaken resort is well worth the time. For a value meal, eat a $10 steak at Quincys. If you want to visit the local museums, be sure to allow plenty of time since the last tours may be leaving 1+ hrs before the museums close.
