“Easy access and nice setting”
Nightly Rate: $95 USD
All was good. This was our first camping trip. I sure wish they had wifi! We camped at Peace River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Arcadia was hit by the 2024 hurricanes as is undergoing a lot of road construction as a result. Be aware if driving through. The downtown area is cute with lots of antique and flea market finds. There is also a great restaurant called "Arcadia" downtown. We highly recommend it. FYI - there is no WiFi at this campground. At our site, Verizon was spotty and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Several city streets are under construction when we were here. There are grocery stores, Walmart, drug stores, fast food restaurants and other businesses on other side of town. No dog parks. This area was hard hit by hurricane ian. So they are probably still recovering from that.

Tip for Other Campers:
Mary Margaret's Tea Room was exceptional - nice place for high tea! The town is small but they have the usual fast food restaurants, Walmart, Publix etc. But not really anything to do - we drove to Sarasota and Punta Gorda for day trips.
