- jclifton Canada is not far. Colville is a cute area and has larger stores, such as Safeway (with gas and diesel) and a Walmart for stocking up. 49 North ski area is close. Kettle Falls is a darling little town. Waitts Lake. Loon Lake. Just an extremely lovely area. Tip: Gas and diesel can be priced atrociously high in this rural area. Try Saucey in Milton. Biggest banana splits ever. Good Milton Burgers and fries. Visit NAS Penascola museum and lighthouse.
