Get your Idaho State Park vehicle permit before you go.
Oldest campground in Lake Cascade State Park, and really not suitable for large rigs. We worked hard to get 43' coach into site 8, but the view of the lake was worth it. Low water in the lake exposed...

Tip for Other Campers:
Don't use Vista Point Blvd to enter park. It is dirt and very rough. Use Lake Way. It is also rough, but is sort of paved. We visited all of the Lake Cascade campgrounds and would go to Huckleberry or Buttercup next time.
Tips from campers about Lake Cascade State Park, Crown Point Campground
- Mcburt I want to warn you, there is nothing to do here but catch up on your reading and rest. All other activities have to be done off the base. Virginia beach 30 min away norfolk Naval base 40 min away. Oceana Naval Base 30 minutes away. RV Park has No swimming pool or playground but you may use the Base facilities. Exchange is very small but seem to have all the emergent needed items. They do have a dump station and you have to pick up and take to dumpster your own garbage. We enjoyed hugging grand babies who live near by the entire week so didn't stay much in camp.2 years ago Stewart Campground & RV Park
