Tips from campers about Wichita’s Spring Lake RV Resort
- BCS61 This is a great home base if you want to check out multiple towns in the area. We visited Cosmosphere and the Salt Mine in Hutchinson. Cosmosphere is the best museum on space flight I've seen, including the Air and Space Museum in DC. They have a lot of information on the Soviet space program I've not seen anywhere else. The Tanganika Wildlife Park in Goddard was also great and focused on experiences with the animals rather than just viewing them like a traditional zoo. Attractions, restaurants, etc in Wichita are also within a half hour drive.2 years ago Wichita’s Spring Lake RV Resort

“Lots & lots of older RVs, not well kept, litter, grass is sporadic and mostly dead. Junky.”

Old dog droppings, cigarette butts, litter. Grass is dead. Full-hookups. We camped at Wichita’s Spring Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
Walmart just over 10 miles down the road.
