This was a wonderful and clean park. We stayed in an Ultimate site which included a table and a double glider. It also had a concrete pad for the motorhome. There was not a lot of people in the park...

Tip for Other Campers:

Make your Mammoth cave tour reservations early space was limited due to staffing issues but it was well worth it! Also the Makers Mark distillery is about 60 miles away and also worth the drive if youre into Bourbon!

Tip for Other Campers:

Cave City Pizza is rumored to have the best pizza in town. Book as many cave tours as time and budget allow, and book them early (as far ahead as possible).

Thank you for the review on our sites and staff! We are very fortunate to be nestled among some impressive caves. Mammoth Cave does require advanced reservations, however the numerous other show caves in the area do not if you ever are back in the area and want to explore more. We hope to see you return again in the future.

Lisa Colombo, at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Mammoth Cave responded to this review on 11/30/24:

Thank you for the review of our campground. During peak months we can become very busy and it is not the best time if you come if you are wanting some more privacy. Based on your review we recommend Spring or late Summer months to visit, not as crowded. Hope that you can come back and visit us soon!
