“Great campground close to Acadia NP”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
We had a spot in the corner which allowed for privacy. A lot of sites are close together. They have upgraded the roads, camp store and bathrooms in this campground. It all appears to be brand new....

Tip for Other Campers:
Take the bus into Bar Harbor or the park. It runs on a schedule and there are employees at each stop to help you decide which bus to take.

Location was reasonably close to most everything, Bar Harbor, Acadia, food etc. Its a nice clean campground with nice sites and quiet. Our site was not very level as the 6 point autolevel errored out...

Tip for Other Campers:
Bar Harbor can be challenging for parking. Some great local seafood eateries. You need a timed reservation pass for Cadillac mountain access. Diesel can be .35 cents less if you look around.

Tip for Other Campers:
We did not take the shuttle bus to Acadia but wish we had. Parking was really difficult. If you want to eat at Jordan Pond, make reservations and take the shuttle!

Tip for Other Campers:
When cruise ship is in the place is mobbed. Very touristy in town. Acadia Visitors center parking lot fills up very early in the morning
