We Roamed and Rambled Railfans have to go into Barstow and the Western America Train Museum along a very busy BNSF depot and classification yard for great train action. Peggy Sues Diner is a tourist stop sure, but is a good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, nonetheless. Various types of quirky and interesting sights and history stops along historic Route 66.

RVmadness Desert Springs Bar&Grill...a must try, the food, drinks and environment are superb. There are other places near here of various sorts that we haven't been to yet because we've been enjoying being just right here! Peaceful and fun
