Check the weather and river conditions, and plan for it! The park has activities for kids. Plan for non-river activities such as sightseeing side trips, and hikes. Provision there arent a lot of places to grocery shop. This is a campground in the forest, wear tick and mosquito spay.

Not a lot to do in the area and for most things you end up driving up to Fryeburg. There are a few local hiking trails worth checking out.

Tip for Other Campers:
We were able to navigate to North Conway and several locals convenience stores for supplies. Excellent location for canoeing the Saco river.
