The nearest "big town" is East Stroudsburg, PA. We needed to pick up a prescription and so had it sent to a pharmacy there. We have an EZ Pass transponder for the motorhome but not for our car, so it was $3 each time we crossed into Pennsylvania onto the turnpike. Cash or EZPass only and the toll booth folks are not happy if you don't have exact change...

- MysteryPoodle The nearest "big town" is East Stroudsburg, PA. We needed to pick up a prescription and so had it sent to a pharmacy there. We have an EZ Pass transponder for the motorhome but not for our car, so it was $3 each time we crossed into Pennsylvania onto the turnpike. Cash or EZPass only and the toll booth folks are not happy if you don't have exact change (Having just come from Canada, I felt lucky I had any US cash on me at all!) LOTS of construction in and around East Stroudsburg, challenging in a car, do not take your RV into that! Pay attention to the campground-provided directions! They suggest not taking Mt. Pleasant off Highway 94 and you may wonder "is that just because it's a left turn?" No... the up and down roller coaster is much bigger on this route. They say to take Benton off Highway 94 and it still has plenty of hills but is a bit less of a challenge.6 months ago Camp Taylor Campground

I would say this is a rustic campground. I am okay with that but I think some people would be disappointed. We had deer and turkey stroll through our site! Water and electric but no septic on site....

Tip for Other Campers:
Definitely do the Tatanka Wolf Preserve. Come in off 94 via Benton Rd to avoid a steep incline if you have a Motorhome.
