We stayed here for two weeks and really enjoyed the Lake Junaluska area. Great for walking and bike riding, renting kayaks, playing tennis or pickleball. Waynesville is close for shopping or dining....

“Pleasant, but bright and Noisy”

All the previous reviews summed it up. Its tight, clean, friendly, and a lot of road noise. Camp staff were awesome. We camped at Lake Junaluska Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Assuming youre driving a truck, we highly recommend driving the 14 mile, paved Heintooga Road Bottom Road. Very pretty and woodsy.
Frog Level Brewery has the best beers in town!
