“Rustic campground at resort prices ”
Nightly Rate: $130 USD
Very disappointed. Incredibly expensive for what you received. Gravel roads, concrete pad was all broken up, bathrooms not clean and could use some maintenance, as could most things at the park:...

“Great swimming pond. ”

Spots are close together, about 20 feet apart. It is clean and quiet, even though it is designed for families with kids. We camped at Hocking Hills Jellystone Park in a Tent Trailer.

Tips from campers about Hocking Hills Jellystone Park
- Bill from Seattle My 30 foot trailer fit the space, which varied by 4 inches from left to right, and much more from front to back. Last year I asked the folks at RV Park Reviews to change the rating options for size of site, because there is no way to indicate the site was long enough for the trailer, but not the tow vehicle. They have not made that change, so I am forced to rate it "not big enough for my RV."8 years ago Medford Oaks RV Park & Campground
- Marty Wyrding The entrance to the park is a bit precarious if your driving east on the 140. Its just over the crest of a hill and at the end of a passing lane, so make sure to merge back into the left lane early and slow down as you crest the hill. Grocery shopping isnt too far away, theres a grocery outlet about 10min away. There are a few diners and fast food restaurants in the same area as the grocery outlet, but nothing particularly compelling or fancy within a 20 min drive.2 years ago Medford Oaks RV Park & Campground
- Neecie67 If you actually pay for your services these folks are wonderful.....don't be a freeloader and you will have a great time! Other2 years ago Medford Oaks RV Park & Campground

Now for local area: in the area, you can hike, bike & river float. A great Hocking Hills winery and local Hocking Hills moonshine distillery, both awsome tasting, atmosphere and people.Nelsonville is @ 7miles, which is an older town with some variety of fast food and shopping.Logan is @ 16 miles and is more modern, variety of shopping, better for...

This is a small campground (it is actually a Jellystone) that is very tight between sites. There isnt a lot to do at the campground but we did stay in October. There is a big lake that is probably...
