“On the river”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
Nice spot on the river. Bring a pole. Internet only at office. We camped at Rogue River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We went White water rafting in Ashville and it included lunch. It was terrific fun, well worth it. - Coop59 GDsponsor Drive the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton where you can go on a silver mine tour then take the steam train to Durango. Telluride is not to far away where you can ride the gondolas for free up and over the mountain. Montrose is 30 miles away for any major shopping needs, save time to visit the Ute Indian Museum and learn about Chief Ouray and the history of the area. - Bounder 35K Being so close to the downtown area, you should be able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We recommend Maggies hamburgers and MiMexico. Actually all the restaurants are good and there is a lot to choose from depending on what you are in the mood for. If you are into farmers markets visit Ridgway on a Friday when they have their market from 10am to 2pm. You can find lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, plus did I mention pies? Also visit the True Grit cafe( give you one guess what it is famous for?)and right down the road is the Dennis Weaver Memorial Park( anyone remember the show Matt Dillion)7 months ago 4J+1+1 RV Park & Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
The viewpoints of the Rogue River along Highway 62 on the way to Shady Cove are terrific. Not just viewpoints, but paved walkways along the river that runs down step and narrow canyons.
