- BFP50 Our plan was to spend time at the lake but the weather changed our plans so we went into Ogallala and glad that we did. There are several things in Ogallala that are well worth the time. The original Boot Hill is there. Also the Petrified Wood Gallery is worth the time. There are numerous restaurants, Walmart and gas.2 years ago Eagle Canyon Hideaway

The most recent review (26 degrees 2024) does not mention the campground access road. Previous reviews were not favorable regarding road conditions. Any updates from 2024 visitors would be helpful....
