Tip for Other Campers:
Laundry is not so great. Only one washer working but I didn't use. I went down the road to Salty K laundry about 2mi. Much nicer and efficient. Showers seemed ok but didn't use.

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Padre Island National Seashore free if you have the America the Beautiful card. $10 if you dont. Beach combing is the big draw as you can drive 60 miles down the beach depending on the tide. We picked up shells until we were tired! Ate at Captains Diner very near the park. I had the Greek Salmon and would have it again.

Tip for Other Campers:
There is not a great deal to do on Padre Island, however we enjoyed walking on the beach, and walking the trails in the Port Aransas area. It is possible to safely cycle along the roads. Corpus Christi is close, providing various activities. We particularly enjoyed visiting the USS Lexington - highly recommend it. Grocery shopping is close by - Island...

We stayed in the 30A 50A Deluxe sites. Very roomy. Long and wide! We camped at Padre Balli Park in a Travel Trailer.
