Hondo features Heavy's BBQ, Herman & Sons and many other great eateries. Eight miles to the north. There is also a Walmart and HEB grocery as well as many other local shops. The Raye Theater is an old style, clean and reasonably price movie theater. Try a movie while you are camping!
