Tip for Other Campers:
Make sure to go to the nature Center and hike some of the trails in the Groton State Forest. There is also a rail trail that goes right past the park and can be accessed from the park by a connector trail. Not sure what shape it's in, there has been a lot of flooding in recent weeks.
