Some of the roads leading to the park are pretty tight and the campground is really remote from the rest of the park.

We had site 17 and loved it. Site 22 was huge and convenient to the showers( the bathroom path went to the side of it ) The trails were nice and we walked a lot.Not a lot for kids to do in the immediate campground.

Other than recommending the campsite, we didn't leave the campground until we broke camp to depart next morning.
“Excellent state park and very clean”

This is a great state park that is very clean and the sites are spacious with no one really around you. We camped at Powhatan State Park in a Motorhome.
