I-77 Exit 14 has Hillsville to the east, Woodlawn and Galax to the west. Galax has a Lowe's, Walmart, grocery stores, and local eateries.   • StephenK I-77 Exit 14 has Hillsville to the east, Woodlawn and Galax to the west. Galax has a Lowe's, Walmart, grocery stores, and local eateries. Applebees and Shoney's were the only major chain restaurants that we found. Towards Hillsville, just off the interstate, try the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. Good food, good service, and excellent margaritas. Diesel at the Citgo in Hillsville is $2.099. Hiking and biking at the New River Trail State Park ($5 to park).
