The location of this park is the best part; right on the water, right on the bike path and very close to downtown Anacortes. We stayed in site 121 and its pretty tight. Were a 45 class A motorhome and...

Tip for Other Campers:

Bring your bikes! You can ride the bike path all the way into downtown and bike around the town. Make sure you stop in the Grocery to try some muffins. And also Pelican Bay Bookstore! They have a huge selection of half price books and also a delicious little coffee bar inside. Washington Park is gorgeous and fun to walk around. And dont forget to go to the...

Tips from campers about Fidalgo Bay Resort

  • Jason Gray Knife River National Historic Site (1 mile north) is accessible by walking trail or driving. Excellent hiking trails through prairie and forest areas, and to the Missouri River. Interesting "earthlodge" home reconstruction typical of the Hidatsa tribe that would have been used by Sakakawea before she joined up with the Lewis and Clark expedition. L&C Interp Center also available in Washburn about 20 minutes east that has even more about the expedition.

Tip for Other Campers:

They have a boat ramp, nice area to kayak. Town is only 5 minutes away and maybe ten minutes to san Juan island ferry. Lots to do in the area, whale watching, fishing, hiking. Walking trail through campground goes all the way into town.
