Tip for Other Campers:
Huntington is close by with lots to do. Good restaurants. Walmart is over the bridge in Ohio but it's not far away. It's paired with a Sam's Club.

Tip for Other Campers:
The final road to the park is skinny & curvy, but do not let it discourage you. You will make it just fine. You might make your non-driving partner go ride in the back to avoid nervous reactions. Just saying... We drove a 36' MH towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee with no issues.
Tips from campers about Beech Fork State Park
- DonRDO South of Spearfish is a very nice german cuisine restaurant-Alpine Inn. Food was very good. They only take cash or check-no cards. Spearfish canyon drive was very nice. Went to Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Devil's Tower-all within an hour or so drive, so easy day trips.2 years ago Spearfish / Black Hills KOA Holiday

The park itself is great. The amenities and hookups are in desperate need af an upgrade. The installation of WiFi is a great improvement but make more full hookups or at least more water hookups...
